Franchising highlights multi-unit owner’s success with fastest-growing chiropractic franchise in new article
It’s no secret that many professional athletes find success in business after they hang up their jerseys for the last time. The leadership skills and the sense of collaboration that is learned on the field often translate into savvy business acumen that allows former professional athletes to thrive and prosper. In a new article published by Franchising, Robb Quinlan is highlighted as an example of how a professional athlete can become successful in business, notably for his latest venture with The Joint Chiropractic.
Quinlan, who now owns four clinics with The Joint and also serves as the Regional Developer for Minnesota, was a star infielder with the Los Angeles Angels for eight years. When a major injury in 2004 occurred, the process of recovery brought him to what would become his second passion: chiropractic care.
How chiropractic care changed Robb Quinlan’s life
“I tore my oblique in August of 2004,” Quinlan says in the article. “That ended my season and put my neck and spine out of alignment. When I was home during the offseason, I found a chiropractor. It helped tremendously with my rehabilitation.”
The article points out that after Quinlan retired from baseball in 2011, his belief in chiropractic care was so strong that, “when he discovered The Joint Chiropractic, he was sold.”
Quinlan is now not only a multi-unit franchisee with The Joint, he is also serving to fuel the brand’s growth in Minnesota in his role as Area Developer. Since he assumed that role, he has helped to expand The Joint in the state by a total of eight locations so far.
“People come in complaining about back pain they’ve had for years,” Quinlan says in the article. “They see what we have to offer, and in a few visits they see results.”

With plans to open multiple locations across the state in the coming years, The Joint is excited to announce veteran franchisees Chad Eades and Paul Trindle as the new Regional Developers for Tennessee.

Last month, our combined region of North Carolina and Tennessee performed over 34,000 adjustments, which just shows you how many people are in need of affordable and accessible chiropractic care. We’re excited to help new and existing franchisees make a real difference in people’s lives, while also improving the quality of their own lives by opening new franchise clinics for The Joint.
